Physical Therapists and more.

 These guys are so polite and kind, they're driving me crazy!  More about them another day lol!  ON to the 'heavy' stuff.  I have my tv on pretty much all day non-stop.  AND, mostly with the sound off.  I spend a large part of the day staring at their eyes, noses, hairstyles, how low their tops are cut ( just the women!) what they do with their hands if anything, and their body language!  Eyeglasses style, movement of their heads when there's a threesome and one is speaking to which they agree. AND the continual news feeding at the bottom of the screen.  I'm not bringing up commercials.  There are too many and too long.  Even though I can only get football with a Spanish announcer, I do enjoy the sport.  Maybe I'm headed back to physical therapy!  If one wants to know how to fall and not be seriously injured, watch football! Or for that matter, baseball.  There can be a football player at the bottom of a pile who gets up and continues playing.  I'm sorta guessing now but I think most tacklers are WELL over 250 lbs. and about four, at least with a ball carrier at the bottom of the pile.  It's amazing more aren't crushed flat.  Maybe the ability to survive this torturous game is their salaries.  Naw, they just like playing...............marge

 Die a horrible death from the Corona Virus.  The Court has allowed people of all religions who want to have large gatherings in their various places of worship, may do so.  This is a cold-blooded decision that ensures the deaths of not only all official worshipers but non-official worshipers as well.  One doesn't have to be a member of an organized group to be a faithful person.  But the Supreme Court has decided that this is inclusive to all and any.  This is a decision that will cause irreparable harm to so many innocent victims.  Dear Trumph, Republicans, Trumph's cabinet members, and any of his cronies I may have missed.  How are you feeling about now?  Are you having trouble sleeping?  Are your palms sweaty?  You have earned every cringing step you are now taking.  How do you like where you are at?  Really.  Let us go now to those who couldn't count all of their monies if they sat down for twelve hours a day and tried for the rest of their lives.  Gentlemen, Ladies, why don't you come forth and rescue this Nation?  You would feel no pain if you did.  You actually might feel uplifted.  You know it wouldn't hurt you and you can save our country with your generosity. Help people to keep food on their tables.  I just don't understand. The highway blockers. Do trumpters really not understand what they are actually doing?  Do they not realize that following a horrific accident EMTs and ambulances are trying to reach the hospitals with their injured victims?  Are the cult followers  really not able to think beyond the end of their noses?  HOW can so many people be that brain dead to not realize what they could be responsible for?  Or do they just not care, is being a follower really all they can absorb, to make themselves feel important?  The damage is so profound that the best of the best Doctors cannot help Donald Trump.  His father wiped out any ability to cognitively be aware of hurtfulness, sadness, joy, or the ability to feel any of these toward another human being.  He just can't. Wishful thinking and hope are not applicable here.  What his father did to his brain has been permanently engrained forever.  Humanness is not there for now or forever.  This makes it so much harder (impossible) for anyone in government to communicate with Trump or participate in the running of our government. I was minding my own business this morning about to make a fresh pot of coffee. As I poured the cold water in, out scurried a spider, a blond spider,  about four inches by four inches it would appear to me.  I tried desperately to get the pot to the sink so as to dump the spider out! I finally got it over the sink but alas, no spider appeared as I emptied out the water.  I even rinsed out the pot hopefully not getting any water into the 'electrical' area.  I even flipped on the switch for a few seconds hoping to see it scramble to safety and not get electrocuted.  Alas no. Which is more important to a coffee addict, finding 'blondie' or having my coffee. Yes, I'm about to make my morning pot.  I'll let you know if I survive.  Special prayers, please. I live in a beautiful, extremely well run retirement home with the best of employees. I and my friends also have loving and helpful relatives that do many things for us that we can't however, do for ourselves. A few of us members, I hesitate to call us a gang, have gotten together, for the general good of all, and not too worry, we won't hurt anyone, we promise. If however, you get a panic call from a driver who just pulled up to the front door, please ignore. We won't keep him or her for a long time and promise to return them within an hour or two with a full tank of gas for their kindness. If by chance we spill catsup or pop on the upholstery, we will gladly pay for the restoration. Thank you.............marge

Surely. Surely, the Senate and Cabinet members can make sense out of trumph's chaotic behavior and rantings before it is too late. How many warnings are needed to convince all of you surrounding him that the world is collapsing before our very eyes? You apparently can't be shamed into acting for your Country's benefit or in the name of humanity. Beware of the 'Griper'!

Bingo is something someone truly bored, made up for other truly bored people.  You sit and stare at a little piece of cardboard with many numbers on it.  If your number gets called, you get to place a little plastic disc on that number.  Wow!  Let me catch my breath!  Remember though, you can't converse when playing because the next number is ready to be called.  And what has one learned during this time?  You learn how to get to the game room, find a seat, get your card and discs and wait for the 'let's go' words!  Also, you might lose a few quarters if it's a gambling game! Eye gtts. From $90 to $400 in one day.

There is absolutely no sane explanation for this.  A small bottle of eye drops at $90 was bad enough but to have it jump to $400?  Speak up, drug manufacturers,  everyone would like to hear how you justify this.  A daughter today had to tell her mother about the price jump.  I think the mother turned it down but am not sure.  Is the deep, bottom line really all about the profit you are making?...............marge.

I live in a retirement home.  I have a beautiful large window overlooking the patio.  We are on a two week lockdown.  I put a sign in my window that said, "Help send candy!".  Today there was a loud knock on the window.  Standing outside were several wonderful ladies who work here.  They were all smiling and one was waving a bag of candy! Since I couldn't open the window, they brought it around to my door.  Thank You, ladies!  It doesn't get any better than this!.............marge

Help! I'm being silenced to death!

What did people do in 1918?  The phone was it.  They probably learned to speak to their neighbors with whom they hadn't talked to in years!  I enjoyed the Facebook picture of the two seniors on an overpass flashing the cars below.  The next scene was of an auto pileup.  I know, find something more constructive to do.  I have a ton of older and current books to read but it would require something totally fantastic or threatening for me to pick one up and open it.  The one right now is a history of St. Andrews, New Brunswick.  A relative's name is in it!  That's gotten me through a few pages!  As of today, West Virginia is the only virus-free state!  I guess I'll go get a list of the week's daily meals. The walk, not my favorite thing to do will be good for me.  Until next time.................marge

I'm so tired of Facebook telling us to look at female stars who have aged fantastically over the past 50 years.  You should come to Independence Village of Plymouth Mi.  You haven't met so many beautifully aging women till you visit here!..................marge

I sit here with achy legs, no stamina and elevated levels of all that is bad.  All of the 'miracle' drugs and treatments on Facebook sound wonderful to me!  But the Dr. and my loving family members say no no no!  Ok,  I say let me try one, two or maybe three.  Boredom is so awful and I understand I'm the only one who can cure it.  I could start a group of none self-motivators.  Yes!  That's it!  Why didn't I think of that sooner..................marge

Or, gripe, or not to gripe?

Yes yes!  forget critique, let's go for griping!  Or a form thereof.  This all comes from turning the sound off on the TV and watching and looking and dissecting every little thing you see.  It is much easier to find 'flaws' or, my differing opinions that way.  I wouldn't wear a bathing suit to give the news or weather.  What I see though is distracting cleavage and baring of those shoulders, at least a little.  Now to the hair.  In my area, it is to see who has the longest hair and how far over the front shoulders it goes.  Just once I'd like to see them turn around to see what the backside looks like.  How long before a show do they have to sit, get their make up on and hair to perfection?  Alright, I confess, I am a little jealous at how good they look.  Does anyone on TV, broadcaster or contestant ever have less than perfect teeth?  Not that I've seen so far.  Is that one of the criteria when auditioning?  What it boils down to is, I'm looking for a parttime job behind the scenes.  My griping, or aiming for perfection, is getting everyone presentable for going on camera.  I'm feeling uniquely qualified.  My teeth were a little off but have since been corrected, not for looks but so I can chew better and I'm in need of a haircut. Aside from those items, I will keep my walker out of the way so no one will trip over it.............marge

What is inside of it is highly questionable.  How can our Senators, who are no better than he at this point, sit and deny our right to have bills voted upon?  They aren't evil bills and there are several hundred.  Are they telling us that all of them would harm our country and none would be any good for us?  That is just impossible to believe.  Please, everyone, including the senators, get out in the fresh air and take a deep breath, or ten!  You can't possibly believe that over 400 bills are all bad for our country?  Don't sit quietly and hope for the best.  You must take an active part in saving this United States!........marge

Trust a worriesome acquaintance?

An acquaintance volunteers to watch the kids while you run to the store,  you leave them in the park to explore while you are deeply engrossed in a novel.  You leave them for a few short minutes at the lake while you go and get a cup of coffee.  Now pretend these strangers are the man in the White House or any of his doting Senators.  What have you just allowed yourself to be?  Ignorant, not smart, and horribly gullible?  this is what has happened in our once great country for the past three years.  The sane citizens say wait until the election.  This though is not a sane situation!  Waiting until the next election may be way, way too late!  Pick any one in the service fields, professional or not, and they said to you,  Okay, I'm coming but first I have to do a couple little errands and THEN I'll come".  We don't have time for ANY errands!  We must act now!  Tomorrow really may be just be too late!..................marge

Two important elements are missing and they will make your life fuller and even more complete.  For you black and whiters, fit gray into your thoughts.  It in no way is diminishing.  It just gives you a new perspective.  The second element in accepting may be finding there are choices.  Again, it doesn't diminish but widens your ability to see every choice open to you.  Some would call it 'maybe' and that too is ok.  You could also call it 'pondering'....................marge

Teens and young people who serve meals at the retirement home

These young people are so far ahead in maturity it never ceases to amaze me.  They've learned not to be overly helpful and pay attention to figure out what the Senior really wants.  I'm a little more agile than some but I sometimes stick my 'helpfulness' in where it is not wanted!  And just let a Senior tell you and they will lol!  So when someone mentions a 'teen' to you, think of these beautiful 'servers' and say thank you!..................marge

The Hippa rule.

It can be so hurtful to people who care about someone and then that person disappears  I live in a  retirement home where most are over 80.  You sit at a dinner table for weeks and become friends.  Suddenly a table partner doesn't show up.  Hippa prevents you from getting any information about your friend.  You can't even send a get well card or make a call to them.  We are not neer do wells trying to steal or make trouble for a friend or their family.  We honestly care!...............marge
