I haven't had the heart to turn on CNN today.

Congress doesn't give a damn as long as their ends are protected.  Everyone one of them makes me violently ill.  Are they 'Jones Town People'?  Our Congresspeople and Trump's Cabinets members are all sniveling, selfish asshole cowards.  There is no other way to explain it.  What can we as Citizens do?  I do not advocate violence!..........................marge

Facebook was hope for thousands and it's dying.

Every day thousands of people go to the Facebook first thing in the morning.  We had the chance to freely vent about current affairs and the President and his Cabinet.  All of us hoping for some, any response by our people in Washington D.C.  That apparently is just wishful thinking on our parts.  Not only is there no response but more and more are removing themselves from Facebook.  They are realizing they are and have been wasting their time trying to get someone to hear them.  What a terrible loss for all of us.  Our ability to be heard on this platform is apparently worthless, just a place to vent and feel better for a few days, nothing more.  How terribly sad and probably will get sadder.  Is this what we want?.................................marge

Common foods unaffordable to the average family.

will you pay $10.00 for one tomato?  Neither would I.  When there are no migrant workers to pick all the necessary vegetables and fruits, those with money won't care.  Not only the average family who likes to eat out once in awhile will be affected, but the places they go to dine.  Not all restaurants will be able to handle the increase in costs nor the customers either.  It is coming thanks to Trump...........................marge

Just one, well almost.

Trump opens his mouth once and no matter what He says 1/3 of the U.S. believes him, especially His Cabinet and Many Republican Congressmen.  What has he put in the water?  How can any of us be so selfish and cruel?  If certain ones of his children go into one of these 'Detainment Centers' what would be his first reaction?  The people we elected to protect us from tyrants etc. seem to have mistaken what their jobs are.  This makes us no different from what we abhor in other countries that abuse their citizens.  This is no game people.  Our future is at stake and time for us to act is rapidly running out!  Rules or no rules, can you imagine your toddler or grandchild being taken from you in front of your eyes only to stopped by 'police guards' if you make any attempt to do so?  You can't click this off of your TV and go to another channel.  There is no other channel...........marge

Trump has no Soul

He really doesn't have a Soul.  He's proven it over and over.  We the People can see it.  Why can't those in Congress?  Are you so afraid of Trump, no more big salaries, pensions, free health care for life that you have sold YOUR Soul the Devil?  Your everyday cowardness turns my stomach and shames our Country to the rest of the world.  Do you think we can survive any world crisis if we have no allies?  We're losing them rapidly Thanks to you.  Have your minds just shut off to what we are doing to the poor immigrant families?  If you ever had any integrity, you don't anymore................marge

For myself and my friend Bill.

If you wake up and don't know what day it is or you just went to bed or it's time to get up not to worry.  This can all be figured out with a little time and no panic.  If we didn't have our fantastically thinking brains, then maybe we should worry, but just a little.  The morning sun comes in my bedroom window.  When it's cloudy, things get screwed up.  I started with logic.  I was in my PJs.  That didn't help.  I checked the phone to see what the date was and the time of course.  Nine O'clock didn't help.  Head to the calendar.  Aha.  Now I know the day but early or late?  Now the TV  comes in.  I do recognize a.m. and p.m. shows so now I know it's morning.  After my three cups of coffee I decide to take the challenge and go to Kroger.  When there I ride the handicap carts.  I look fairly normal but my legs get tired after 50 feet of walking.  My Buddy Ron worked at the back self-checkout.  (I come in the front). They keep putting cardboard shelves all around the store in the narrowest aisles they can find.  It is my unconscious job to hunt them out and see how close and fast I can get by them.  I'm not always successful.  Ron saw me driving.  He waved to the courtesy desk, told the lady there, he needed a tow truck.  He's a big strong fellow and lifted the front of my electric car up so I couldn't escape.  Meanwhile, customers are staring at us and not sure how serious this is but Ron let me proceed and all was calm.  Next time I'm taking my squirt gun.  It's multi-colored so I should be safe.  The next 'incident', I woke, got out of bed and started looking for my Toddler.  The house was too quiet! I went into the living room.  The light popped on in my head.  I better not have a toddler.  I'm 81!  That was a relief.  Really!  so Bill be mellow.  Think of me and my rotten memory etc.  You and I are just fine..................marge

Animals have more feelings of love, compassion, guilt and sadness than anyone one who sits at the Cabinet Table.

You who like Trump are for the most part, reasonably intelligent people.  Or so I thought.  How can you not see how horrible he is to his family, Congress, the whole world and especially his youngest son.  He doesn't know what 'remorse' is and never will, truly.  He sees himself as the only worthwhile person on this earth.  He will never change or 'grow'.  He doesn't understand there are many things flawed in his basic character.  I think we can thank his Dad for that, as can his other children.  This is not only as sad and scary as can be, but it may be too late to correct any of it.  To think Congress has not only allowed this to happen but isn't even trying to put our Country back on the right path I can't believe.  Citizens and World friends, we are in deep deep trouble.  We need help from everyone............marge
