The Hippa rule.

It can be so hurtful to people who care about someone and then that person disappears  I live in a  retirement home where most are over 80.  You sit at a dinner table for weeks and become friends.  Suddenly a table partner doesn't show up.  Hippa prevents you from getting any information about your friend.  You can't even send a get well card or make a call to them.  We are not neer do wells trying to steal or make trouble for a friend or their family.  We honestly care!...............marge
