Surprise, no dinner.

I live in a higher end retirement home.  It is a friendly special place.  Several times a year they have a fancy brunch.  Being newer here, I didn't know.  I went down for dinner on Mother's Day.  The dining room was dark.  On the entrance counter were half sandwiches and a bag of potato chips.  That was dinner, if I wanted it, for $1.50!  so I told them to go ahead and bill me.
