I'm so relieved.

I was recently informed that I had a 'wrinkled face, (an honest comment by a young one.)  I remembered, pulling from my long history of living, that the one who always comes to mind, besides his wonderful acting ability was the one and only Walter Pigeon.  Now there was an aged face, but it didn't matter!  Talent, he had!..............marge

Could women ever be as good as the men?

I'm going to assume that if I tried to spit, it would probably dribble down my chin.  Just how good does a female spitter have to become to apply for a Major League team?  If it's a genetic thing, then I'm not even going to try.  Do you know how many tops I'd have to wash in one week?..................marge

And it's the women who are doing it.

We were doing fine as a country when men began to panic.  Slowly, steadily, more intelligent women were beginning to get involved in politics and government.  And panicked the men are.  They are coming up with every possible 'new' rule of law to stop these advancing only good for sex and baby producing vaginal people.  Lordy lordy, beware of panicking men.  They are at a total loss as to what to do and are going off of the deep end.  Keep prodding and keep our fight going ladies.  We will win this one!..................marge

Are hungry landlords taking over?

Since I left the City after fifty years, it is rapidly changing.  No more favorite small restaurant or Beauty Salon.  Goodbye affordable shops or restaurants.  It may or may not still be a walkable town but is it still affordable?  Perhaps I left with good small town memories when I did...............marge

Surprise, no dinner.

I live in a higher end retirement home.  It is a friendly special place.  Several times a year they have a fancy brunch.  Being newer here, I didn't know.  I went down for dinner on Mother's Day.  The dining room was dark.  On the entrance counter were half sandwiches and a bag of potato chips.  That was dinner, if I wanted it, for $1.50!  so I told them to go ahead and bill me. Sigh.......................marge

Eldest daughter saves postal worker.

I live in an area in Michigan that has a few turkeys wandering around. On her way home, Patty saw a postal truck stopped in the middle of an intersection with a petrified female driver inside and two turkeys pecking at the door.  With no thought of her own safety, turkeys can be mean, my daughter jumped from her car and forcefully chased the turkeys away.  Thankfully, the other drivers stopped to allow her to complete the task, giving the postal worker time to drive to safety.  Bless you Patty.......................marge

Always the rule breaker.

Don't you people feel any embarrassment or shame when you break what seems like little rules?  How many times have you thrown an empty pop bottle out of the car window or for just a second, of course, parked in the fire lane to run in and pick up your laundry?  Multiply that by a million a day.  Can you understand my point?........................marge

Don't keep them apart.

I live in a comfortable multi Senior Residential Village.  There is only one problem.  We rarely get to see young people.  How nice it would be if a grade school were to be built nearby, or some facility that we seniors could watch the youngsters in action.  It would brighten our day,  I promise you............................marge

He wouldn't commit suicide though.

That would make him the real coward he is and he couldn't live with that (no pun intended).  He hates himself more than even he realizes.  His only hope is that some country will hate him so much that they are willing to kill him along with many others.  Thus, he assumes, he will be written up as a martyr in any history book.  Megalomaniacs just don't understand.  forever and a day...........marge
