Miracle creams?

I'm tired of all the ads for creams etc. to make someone looks 20 years younger.  They won't help me.  I need a cream that takes off say, forty years.  You may think you know why I say forty years, but you don't.  That's because most of you have no idea who 'Walter Pidgeon' is.  You see,  I have a face like Walter Pidgeon.  All the creams in the  world aren't going to help me.  AND, from now on, we won't use the word 'wrinkles'.  Never ever again.  Character lines.  I have character lines.  Remember that, if you ever approach and recognize me in public. If you don't, I think I can still deliver a good 'punch'...........marge

To arm or not to arm. That is the question.

Sean Combs and his gun toting followers can't be blamed for the Colorado movie premier massacre but surely,  It must give them food for thought.  I believe the NRA wouldn't even think that in any way could they have any responsibility.  But back to Sean and his defenders.  To what point did you prove the need to walk through a small town,  its city park and the local library, all where children were, with many loaded weapons, including an AK 47?   Did any residents in any of these places feel safer?  You better believe not.  Were they confused and frightened, you better believe YES.  Did you have the right?  Yes.  Did that mean it was the smart, intelligent thing to do?  That should be an easy question for you to answer.  It was for me........marge

'In' depth or 'no' depth reporting......

I tried contacting Channel 2 as they were interviewing Sean Combs on Thursday's 5 p.m. news.  I wanted to know if this young man, who feels so strongly about his Constitutional rights, was a registered voter.  Seemed like an important question.  When I did get an email reply, I was informed that he was '17' and therefore, couldn't vote.   Well Channel 2, if he isn't old enough to vote, he isn't legally old enough to openly or otherwise, walk around with a loaded weapon!  Today, after being shifted around by  phone, I left a message with my questions, name and phone number.  Several hours have passed.  I still haven't heard from anyone............marge.    Post script........As of 9 a.m. 7-16-2012, according to Troy Mi, City Clerk's office, Sean Combs' name did NOT come up as a registered voter...........marge

As I was leaving my Dr's. office the other day, I watched as an employee was measuring the height of a woman.  I pointed out the woman was wearing heels.  I had to.  When I was measured yet again this year, they tried to tell me that not only had I lost an inch on the previous visit, but another one this time.  I'm not happy with employees who keep trying to make me shorter.  There's no call for it.  And,, for the record, I can legally prove them wrong.  The State of Michigan has me listed as 5' 3" and there I shall stay.  Just check my drivers license..........marge

AK 47s on small town streets

At the June 11, 2012 meeting of the Birmingham, Mi. City Commission, A group of eight year olds with wooden rifles on their shoulders single filed into the room.  Oh wait.  They were GROWN men entering a public meeting place,  where all ages were in attendance, carrying loaded, we presume, sidearms, rifles and an AK 47.  Why?  Because one teenager recently decided to challenge the system by walking the local streets with his new rifle, loaded.  Did he cause concern? You betcha.  The police came.  Did the teen cooperate when stopped and questioned?  Apparently not.  And that is why these roaming men were parading the streets of Birmingham, to protest a stranger carrying a loaded rifle amongst all the downtown shoppers and walkers and refusing to show  identification.  I wonder if this Constitutionally minded teen is register to vote??  And yes.  The gun toters were given their free speech rights.  Its on camera folks!   .........marge
