WWI War Time Rhymes.
Old women pierced by bayonets grim And babies slaughtered for a whim, Cathedrals made the sport of shells, No mercy, even for a child, As though, the imps of all the hells Were crazed with drink and running wild. All this we fight---that some day when Good sense shall come again to men, Our children's children may not read This age's history thus defamed And find we served a selfish creed And ever be of us ashamed!...........marge

Instead of answering, you just scream.
I watch and listen to all of you who are anti maskers. You don't seem to want to get your messages across by the usual methods, like writing, or speaking in a normal tone in public. If I were your advisor, I'd give you a few helpful hints. Mostly what not to do. Don't lean forward with your hair flying in every direction and yelling why you wave your fists in the air. I promise that won't help your side. Screaming won't help either. For the moment that is all I can think of to aid you. But since I totally disagree with you. please ignore my advice. I don't really want to help you.........................marge

I'm going out today!
To the real world, good or bad! I'm getting two tacos! I haven't had any in eons. Then I get to go play with a cat at daughter's house! It doesn't get much better than this!................marge

No, not what you think.
I've tried to eliminate 'very' from my vocabulary ( I'm doing quite well). but now, something else has popped up. It is in reference to 'bunches'. I keep saying, I have a whole bunch. There is never a 'half bunch' as in bananas. Just ask yourself, have you ever gone to the store to buy a half bunch of anything? Me neither. Onward and upward..........marge

Whom, whom could it be?
If I awakened and found myself on a beautiful tropical island with only a cell phone, whom would I call?............marge

Won't hurt a fly!
I live in a beautiful, extremely well run retirement home with the best of employees. I and my friends also have loving and helpful relatives that do many things for us that we can't however, do for ourselves. A few of us members, I hesitate to call us a gang, have gotten together, for the general good of all, and not too worry, we won't hurt anyone, we promise. If however, you get a panic call from a driver who just pulled up to the front door, please ignore. We won't keep him or her for a long time and promise to return them within an hour or two with a full tank of gas for their kindness. If by chance we spill catsup or pop on the upholstery, we will gladly pay for the restoration. Thank you.............marge
